List your goals for working out and then go about finding the best ways to achieve them. design your workout plan around specific areas of your body or fitness level that you want changed. You shouldn’t follow a plan you found online, because only YOU know what your goals are and which areas you want to focus on more, everyone’s unique. Just research fitness training and design your workouts according to you. If you need a second opinion, send me an email and i’ll try to help you out.

Fitness/weight loss plan ideas and comments?

Question by K. L.: Fitness/weight loss plan ideas and comments?
I have started walking on a treadmill daily going at an average speed of 3.9-4.4 mph for 65-80 minutes. I usually consume approx. 1400 calories each day [ranges from 1000-1900], but I binge on weekends. How can I get rid of this bad habit? I am by no means anorexic, but I do want to tone up in the stomach department, and lose some of that thigh mass. Or lose about 7-8 pounds. Is this a suitable fitness plan?
I am 14, 5’2″, and 114-116 pounds.

Question by Grape: Who knows a perfect fitness plan for me?!?!?
Height: 6ft 2in
Weight: 200lb
Age: 16
To be honest with you all, I weigh 200lbs is not because of muscles, it’s because of fat. I know I am a bit too fat for myself. I would want to know, if anyones has a perfect fitness plan for me to workout and become more fit. I have full access to my local gym, which basically have every kind of excerise machines. Thanks y’all for helping! 🙂

Everyone is different from another. What works for me may not work for you. However, this is the best advice I can give you. If you are trying to build muscle (and as a result burn fat), and are a beginner (rarely work out, never been really consistent with any type of program), then you should do something like this in a given week: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday: full body resistance training (chest, back, shoulders, biceps, triceps, forearms, quads, hams, calves) as a circuit (one set of each chosen exercise performed consecutively one after another). Choose a weight that you can do 10-12 reps. When you have finished an entire circuit, repeat once more. By the way, try to rest as little as possible between sets in a circuit. Tuesday and Thursday: Choose a form of cardiovascular exercise (jogging, jump rope, stair-climber, rollerblading, a sport, etc.) Shoot for at least 30-45 minutes if possible. And finally, and most importantly, change your diet. You need about a gram of protein per pound of desired body weight. Eggs, chicken, fish, cheese, milk, red meat, etc. arje a good source of this. Skip fried foods. Skip dessert. If your going to eat bread make it whole grain. Beware of sugar. Remember: carbs and sugar that is not used as energy are stored as fat. Whole wheat pasta is good, whole wheat tortillas, etc. Fresh vegetables are excellent. Fruit for the most part is great (just do’n dip those strawberries in whipped cream). Always eat breakfast! Do not skip breakfast. It kickstarts your metabolism. Eat less more frequently as opposed to 1 or 2 giant meals all day. Watch carb intake after 6 p.m. Invest in some whey protein powder or ready made protein drink. I love muscle milk personally and think it tasted amazing. Also, yes, cutting calories does drop weight. However, more importantly, the kinds of calories you put in your body bwill really determine your success. You dont just want to be a skinny guy/girl that is composed of a lot of fat. No, yoiu want lean, functional muscles. Diet is the most important part of any exercise/fitness program. You literally are what you eat. I hoped this helped. Check out a Men’s Health, Fitness RX, or Maximum Fitness magazine. They have loads of information. Good Luck my friend!

Question by anonymous: Diet and fitness plan for a flat lower stomach?
I’ve already asked this, but I really want help. I want a flat lower stomach for my ballet recital in about a month. I’m vegetarian, I work out, have access to the gym, and just really need your help.
I’m not fat, and the rest of my stomach is fine, just the stubborn lower part…
I’m willing to try about anything. I have a solo and want to look my best, thanks for your help.

your lower abdominal muscles are the hardest to build up and if you want to cut body fat you have to do a lot of cardio, as for a plan just hit the treadmill and the stair climber for about 30 mins a day and you will see a big difference as long as you stay away from fatty foods

that’s a great exercise regiment, but it wont do much without proper diet and hydration– try adding these 3 steps to your exercise routine to see the best results:
1. Drink more water– divide your weight in pounds by 2 and that’s how many ounces to drink per day. (Example: 150 lbs: 150/2=75 oz per day) this is the minimum, more is better.
2. Eliminate as many processed foods as possible and replace them with fresh fruits and vegetables and lean meats. The less processed foods, the more success you’ll see.
3. Eat the proper amount of food, my preferred calculation is the Harris Benedict Equation (Google will give you a dozen calculators for it)
Good luck!
