Question by Cheex23: Diet and fitness plan for losing 20 lbs?
Hi. I’m a 19 year old female. I am 5’2 and 160 lbs. I haven’t worked out since I graduated high school 2 years ago. I talked to my Marine Recruiter today and I’ve got to lose 20 pounds to be able to enlist. I don’t know how I should eat or how I should exercise. Does anyone have any tips that could help? I need to burn fat, gain muscle and have energy.

For quick weight loss

No breakfast
Grilled chicken salad for lunch with no dressing
Protein shake for snack around 2-3
Grilled fish or chicken for dinner with green beans
…..(Not the healthiest, but good for quick weight loss, THIS IS NOT FOR LONG TERM)

Im 17 years old and i was wondering if this is a good weight loss plan to lose about 20 pounds in 3 months?

as well as an hour walk in the morning and pilates at night;

monday- afternoon surf
tuesday- tai chi class
wednesday- afternoon surf
thuresday -dance class
friday- afternoon surf
saturday- swim at the local pool
sunday- yoga class

Due to all the exercise you are getting in, 1200 cals is at the lower end of how much you should be eating; try to have 1200 on the days you surf and between 1200 – 1500 on the other days. Also try and drink between 2-3 litres daily.
Do this and you will have an amazing plan to lose weight, especially since your body won’t get bored with all the different exercises.
