Answer by Trying to get Healthy!!
Here are some FYI TIPS, you may find useful!
***WATER: WATER is VERY important! You should drink an extra 8oz, for every 20-25 pounds you want to lose on top of the regular amount of 8 glasses you should drink daily. If you are exercising you’ll need to increase this!
***To lose weight more efficiently and effectively, stop eating 2-3 hours before bedtime. This allows your body to become a fat burning machine throughout the night, instead of trying to process what you’ve just eaten. That feeling in your belly (of hunger), is the body going into to fat burning mode, you want that! That is the key to the ignition so to speak! Also, you should eat breakfast, this also sort of jumpstart your body’s’ metabolism. You can also try: http://www.fitnessmagazine.com they’ve got all kinds of great exercises you can choose from and they even do demonstrations of them!
***COOL DOWN: Cooling down, having a cool down session after working out prevents blood pulling to occur, which cause you to be more sore. Walking around or stretching ~10-15 minutes should be sufficient! 😀
***FOR EXERCISES: Try 20-45mins (whatever you can do) daily, or as many as you can, (something is always better, than nothing at all!!) of some cardio of your choice. Maybe running/jogging, dancing, bike, etc. (yes, dancing can be great cardio- just throw on some favorite music and let it rip! Its fun and you control it! 😀 Best time to exercises is the morning, first thing! When you do this you jumpstart your metabolism for the day. Just GET/BE/STAY ACTIVE this is really good and important for a healthy body!
***Make sure you have enough and proper protein in your diet! This is important! Chicken, seafood, meats you can get these as lean meats and make these as good choices in your meal plan.
***PLAN AHEAD: My husband and I plan our meal ahead of time. We discuss the day before what are plan for the next day is so we pretty much already know what the deal is and what it’s going to be for the next day. We don’t have to guess and wonder, we’re already prepared. I can’t tell you how wonderful this little sucker is, it helps sooo much!
Know what’s on the menu for you tomorrow!
***Look for inch loss, which is a wonderful thing. Sometimes you lose in inches and not actual weight. Take your measurements and pay attention to how your clothes fit you! That is a really good indicator that something’s happening!
***Strength training is also good! But, be careful and don’t over do it. Too much can make you gain weight in bulk muscle; muscle weighs more that fat!
***Take a look at http://www.caloriesperhour.com
Go to the Activity Calculator, and you can find out according to your specific age, gender, height and weight, how many calories you burn doing all kinds of activities! It’s cool & simple, I like the site! 😀
***It takes 3500 calories to gain a pound and a loss of/deficit of 3500 to lose a pound!*
***If you have a bad day or an off day, it’s better to eat the bad foods as early in the day as possible, that way you have a lot longer time to burn it of than just a few hours at night before bed!! Also, eat you bigger meals earlier, in this same regard of burning it off!

When you are losing weight, you should exercise and diet together.
If you exercise without dieting, you will get bigger appetite, which
will lead to increase of weight, or muscle grow
underneath the fat layer, and make you bulkier. If you diet without
exercising, you will become flabby and will have excess skin. For
diet, go wheat free. No pasta, pizza, bread and so on. And no food
after 7 p.m. People achieve marvellous results with it. Depending on
your initial weight, you can drop upwards from 20 pounds a month. If
you don’t eat wheat then you don’t eat all those sticky, fatty goey
cakes, you don’t eat junk food, and you don’t eat biscuits. But your
diet is still balanced. It costs nothing, and you do not have to
calculate points or to buy special meals or plans. For exercising,
start with walking, and then switch to running/jogging. Running is the
most efficient and calorie-burn exercise ever. If you are overweight a
lot, walk first or you may have health complications (heart attack,
disjointed bones and so on). Weight lifting is a good means to target
your problem areas for men and women. It’s not necessarily to become a
bodybuilder or even join a gym – a couple of dumbbells will help you
to target your problem areas (stomach, butt, legs, arms, chest).

Question by danteelmdor: I need a free but helpful fitness plan to get health?
First im just gonna say im not really obese or anything, but im not happy with my body the way it is either, Im out of shape and the more time I spend without a fitness routine I start to see gradual increase in fat in my midsection and legs, Im tired of living in this unhealthy state and I want to get fit and reduce my calorie intake, I was healthier during schooltime because I had 2 PE classes and I only really work well in fitness when I have a trainer or coach telling me what to do.
Obviously now that its summer time I dont have that so I need to take responsibility for it myself, can anyone give me a link to a fitness plan or just write one that I can use every week, like what typically is healthy dieting and fitness food ( I want to reduce the fat volume first so that the abs from muscle growth dont make me appear larger than I already am ;P) and a fitness routine to follow?
Thank you

Take a walk. Everyday, maybe twice a day, once in morning and once in the evening. Go a little farther each day.
Cut the junk food, and unhealthy eating. Go to bookstore and get a book full of recipes for great tasting healthy food with better nutritional value. Learn to cook, if you don’t know how.
Think what life is going to be like without a mate. If that doesn’t motivate you, nothing will.

What is the best 9 months fitness plan?

Question by Alex: What is the best 9 months fitness plan?
I want to start a 9 months work out plan.
What is the best alternance of phases (i.e. strength, endurance, and so on…)?
My goal is to gain 5 kgs of lean mass.
Also, can I do a lot of cardio like running at the same time, without affecting lean mass gains?
Best answer:
Answer by DM
I would have to say that the best work out plan would be pyramiding, to gain muscle. Start with a certain amount of weight that you can do 12 reps with, and then add 5 pounds to that and then do 10 reps then add 5 more and do 8 reps and then add 5 more and do 5 reps. this is the best way to gain muscle mass. if you are talking about curls though you should probibly add less then 5 each time like maybe 2 pounds. and and yes you can do cardio without affecting muscle gain because cardio will help tone the muscle that you are making so alternating every couple of days is a good thing.

You need to eat about 1400 calories per day. Aim for foods like fresh fish, fruit and vegetables and wholegrain cereals. Here is a 1400 calorie meal plan which includes tips on the kinds of foods to eat…
You can do the occasional detox, but in the long run they aren’t good for you, and they don’t help with long term weight loss.
Try and exercise for at least 30 minutes 5 times a week and get your heart rate to at least 60% of your maximum to ensure that you are burning fat. Try and vary your exercise as much as possible, do a different type of exercise every day or every other day and every few weeks change your exercise plan so that you don’t hit a plateau. Swimming, cycling, jogging, and pilates will all help you. Do some aerobics as well, and try using the equipment at the gym.
