Question by sporty_gurl: Does anyone know of a diet/fitness plan that will help me get in shape for a triathlon?
I really want to start competing in triathlons but I’m not sure how to prepare for it. I’m a distance runner in track and a vegan. Is running enough to get in shape for it or should I go bike riding too? If so for how long? Thanks!

i lost 15lbs in 5 days
1)jogging every morning (haw far? depends on your stamina)
2)tae bo 5 times a week (1hr)
3)hot yoga twice a week (1hr 30mins – to strech and relax your muscles from tae bo and jogging)
eat healthy and drink at least 80 ounces of water a day.
eating jalapenos and taking 3 table spoons of apple cider vinegar will boost your metabolism!
-i feel toned and really healthy =)
trust me, this WILL work!
Which distance are you doing? If you are doing a sprint, you are probably ready for the run portion already. Without more details, the general recommendation is to train your weakness. The cycling leg is an extension of your general fitness level, but it is always helpful to do some “bricks”, bike / run combos to get used to running after the bike leg. Here is a good site with various training programs.
